Rockland Harbor Southwest Light
This light was established as a local aid to navigation in 1987, marking Seal Ledge and shallow water south and southwest of the ledge. Built by an individual over a six-year period between 1981-1987, this light is the only privately built lighthouse to become an official aid to navigation. A fifth-order Fresnel lens was added in 1989.

It can also be viewed from Snow Marine Park adjacent Mechanic Street in Rockland's South End.
