Fern Hill Farm is located halfway between Portland, Maine, and North Conway, New Hampshire, in the heart of the lakes region. Nestled among the lakes and foothills of western Maine, Fern Hill Farm awaits your visit in any season.
Our 1870 home is a unique vacationing experience for individuals and families alike, blending comfortable, country accomodations with a small working farm atmosphere. The farm features a herd of Nubian dairy goats and a variety of laying hens. We produce quality goat cheeses and goat’s milk soap on the premises.

All have views of the lake and are one or two bedroom accommodations. Most have screened porches. Kitchen equipment is provided as are pillows and blankets. The cottages are furnished with telephones and televisions. Evenings can be enjoyed playing horseshoes or toasting marshmallows and popping corn in our large outdoor fireplace. Pets are allowed in the cottages by prior arrangement and only for a fee. They must be kept on a leash and not left alone when you leave your cottage. Weekly cottage rentals are Saturday - Saturday.
