The Young House Bed and Breakfast
193 Central Street Millinocket 04462 Phone : 207-723-5452 We are your inkeepers, Micki and Fred Schumacher, and we are living our dream of owning a bed and breakfast. We come from Florida and both left successful careers with "corporate America" because we were finally ready for a change. We wanted to live in a place with four seasons, especially snow, an abundance of moose and no hurricanes. The North was calling us and so we left sunny Florida to begin our search. What we found was a gem in the rough. We call it The Young House. On a personal note, we have two grown children, three grandchildren, and four adorable cats (the cats live on the third floor with us). We are avid music and theatre lovers and have collectively performed in over 100 community theatre productions. Fred enjoys photography and computer games while Micki enjoys sewing and quilting. Together we enjoy moose watching and riding our Goldwing.
