The Appalachian Trail passes nearby, and there are many beautiful day length trails. Moose, deer, beaver, loons, bald eagles and osprey are common sight while hiking the trails, canoeing the local lakes and rivers or just driving the back roads. The sunsets and night skies are spectacular.
