Readfield is a town in Kennebec County, Maine, United States.Readfield is home to the Kents Hill School, a preparatory school, Maranacook Community Schools, public schools for the district, and the annual Kennebec County Fair. The town is a resort area on Maranacook Lake.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 31.1 square miles (80.6 km²), of which, 29.2 square miles (75.7 km²) of it is land and 1.9 square miles (4.9 km²) of it (6.08%) is water. Drained by Beaver Brook and Tingley Brook, Readfield includes the northern half of Maranacook Lake, the southern half of Torsey Pond, the southeast corner of Echo Lake, and the northeast shore of Lovejoy Pond.
