Compass Project-- Boat Building Festival
Spirits could not have been higher at Back Cove as Compass Project’s Boat Building Festival celebrated its 10th anniversary on July 12-14th. The event, a Portland summer tradition, is Compass Project’s largest fundraising and outreach event of the year. Over the course of the weekend, 11 teams built 12’ Bevin’s Skiffs, launching them from East End Beach at the close of the festival. It was an amazing weekend of building, learning and supporting Compass Project!
