	Western Maine Health The Paramedic Alliance for Community Emergencies, or PACE Paramedic Service, is a department of Stephens Memorial Hospital and is the only paramedic-licensed service in Oxford County. We maintain 24 hours per day, 7 days per week coverage, offering a minimum of two paramedics and two emergency medical technicians (EMTs).

	York Ambulance York Ambulance protects the entire Town of York with one ambulance staffed full time with a Paramedic and an EMT. Three full time Paramedics are scheduled to work two 24 hour shifts per week and four part time Paramedics scheduled on Saturdays. The 14 EMTs are licensed at either the Basic Level or the Intermediate Level and work 12 hour shifts on a per-diem schedule.

On Thanksgiving the service gathers food and donates it to a local food bank. We also donate turkeys to the local radio station turkey drive. Christmas time we help out families by buying gifts for them.
