| | Hallowell Clay Works I fell in love with clay the moment I touched it.
That was in 1985 at S.U.N.Y. Oswego. I took every ceramics course I could with Richard Zakin. He taught me hand-building and opened a door for me to help me find my voice. From there I worked slowly and steadily developing my skills. The clay continues to guide me and has been providing me with great company for my journey. I work full-time at Hallowell Clay Works teaching and creating my own line of work. |

| | Linda Clifford Linda Clifford’s expertise in Celtic heritage and merchandise has its roots in an unlikely source: a photograph on a record cover. Linda, who grew up in North Carolina, entered retailing in her early 20s when she took a job with a record store chain. She quickly worked her way up into management roles. One day, while unpacking new inventory, she stumbled across a copy of Mendelssohn’s Scottish Symphony.
