	York York is a town in York County, Maine, United States at the southwest corner of the state. Situated beside the Atlantic Ocean on the Gulf of Maine, York is a well-known summer resort. 	Arrowsic Arrowsic is governed by a selectmen-town meeting system. We are a residential community of some 427 souls, bordered by the Kennebec, Sasanoa, and Back Rivers. The City of Bath lies across the Kennebec from us. We are proud of our volunteer Fire Department. During the French and Indian Wars, Arrowsic was site of a succession of important and embattled colonial settlements. It is a favorite with artists and birdwatchers.
