damariscotta.jpgDamariscotta
Where the Twin Villages of Newcastle and Damariscotta flank the shores of the salty Damariscotta River. It’s also home to the Damariscotta River Oyster ‐a delicacy that’s been popular with summer visitors for thousands of years as evidenced by ancient shell heaps found along the banks. Downtown Damariscotta is a vibrant mix of unique shops, community services, restaurants, the Lincoln Theatre, farmers’ markets, and artists’ galleries.

deerisle.jpgDeer Isle
Deer Isle is an enchanting place. Although reachable by bridge, the Island still retains the flavor of New England life in the 1950’s: rural, neighborly, safe. A wide variety of accommodations is available: inns, b&b’s, rental cottages and campgrounds. Restaurants, espresso bars, antique shops, gift shops, book stores and the galleries/studios of island artists offer a rich selection of places to visit

durhamme.jpgDurham
A quiet rural town of gentle hills, open fields, and green forests with a long proud history. Not far from the cities of Portland, Auburn and Lewiston, and only 10 minutes from Freeport and the coast, Durham remains a place where time slows down and life is a little less hurried. From our volunteer fire department to our annual town meeting, from re-cycling waste to rebuilding our old grange hall, our citizens are active in shaping and deciding the issues that impact our lives.
