	Society of Southern Maine Craftsmen Founded in 1968, The Society of Southern Maine Craftsmen is a non-profit, juried craft organization for Maine craftsmen who are seriously committed to producing quality handmade products. Applicants are juried on originality, imagination, workmanship and design. Membership Juries are held several times a year.

We promote understanding and appreciation for quality craftsmanship as an art form and a way of life to the people of Maine and our many visitors. 	United Maine Craftsmen United Maine Craftsmen is a non - profit organization founded in 1969 by a handful of crafts people. From the beginning, UMC has supported itself through membership dues and admission fees at its' shows. For years UMC was run by volunteers, but in 1992 a permanent office was established in Manchester, Maine. Members of United Maine Craftsmen vary from the beginning hobbiest to people who sell on the international market.

	ABC Quilts and Crafts Anita, Brenda and Cheryl are sisters who, along with our brothers, David & Eric, spent our earlier years in the Rumford/Mexico area of Maine. In those early years, we watched, amazed, as our Mom made clothes, quilts, etc. Our quilts are machine stitched and are tied rather than quilted. Our favorites include the Fan, Single Irish Chain, Log Cabin, Dresden Plate, Simply Squares and, of course, Nana's Crazy Patchwork.
