	Penobscot Outdoor Center The Penobscot Outdoor Center (POC) is the base lodge for our wilderness rafting resort. It includes great vacation amenities including: a bar, lite munchies, continental breakfast, canoes, volleyball, large group firepit and individual site fire rings. Many sites offer amazing views of Katahdin and paddling on Pockwockamus Pond. The campground features deluxe camping options: campsites, canvas cabin tents (2 and 4 person) and bunkhouses.

From April to October, our central Maine location offers great white water rafting, family river rafting, extreme highwater rafting trips, island camping trips, and canoeing & kayaking on the Kennebec River, Penobscot River and Dead River.
