G&H Ambulance
G&H is part of the Heart Safe Community program. We engage in community programs such as; CPR classes, blood pressure clinics, and blood drives. For more information on the program click HERE! If you have any questions email Chief Strout. The service also helps the community each holiday. On Thanksgiving the service gathers food and donates it to a local food bank. We also donate turkeys to the local radio station turkey drive. Christmas time we help out families by buying gifts for them.

Mayo Regional Emergency Medical Service has 52 staff working from ambulance bases at Mayo Regional Hospital in Dover-Foxcroft and at a new satellite base located on Route 7 in Dexter. Five ambulances are stationed in Dover-Foxcroft, and three in Dexter. Mayo also has 17 staff with wilderness EMS training, and Mayo is the only EMS service in Maine that maintains a wilderness advanced life support team for back country rescue support.
