	Androscoggin Head Start Androscoggin Head Start is a program for children and their families. Head Start succeeds in teaching children how to be successful in group settings, and prepares them academically for kindergarten. Head Start builds partnerships with all families, including support for families to pursue their goals. Head Start curriculum and activities are designed to be fully inclusive of children with varying abilities, including those with moderate to severe disabilities.

	Big Brothers Big Sisters Big Brothers Big Sisters matches children ages 7 through 13 with mentors in professionally supported one-to-one relationships. We have mentoring programs in communities across Oxford, Androscoggin and Franklin Counties.Community-based mentoring is the traditional Big Brothers Big Sisters relationship, where Bigs and Littles get together on their own to share fun activities they both enjoy. Matches meet for a total of six hours a month.

	Birth Roots Birth Roots model is non-clinical, community based education and support throughout pregnancy and the first year of parenting. Our programs and events build community, encourage instincts and intuition, address social, emotional and non-clinical needs and promote our philosophy of "Community Supported Parenting".Children born in an environment of confidence, awareness and intimacy tend to be more resilient and able to thrive.
