	Scarlet Begonias Scarlet Begonias is the creation and dream-come-true of Doug and Colleen Lavallee. They met 20 years ago at Johnson & Wales College when both were aspiring chefs. After years of perfecting their skills in restaurants in Rhode Island, Connecticut and Maine, Scarlet Begonias was launched the day after Thanksgiving, 1995.
