	South Branch Lake Camps Some of the best whitetail deer hunting in Maine can be found in Penobscot County. Black bear are abundant and we offer guided Maine black bear hunting. Moose are also very plentiful in our area. Grouse and snowshoe hare hunting are superb, with many overgrown spruce swamps and numerous logging roads and rolling hills to travel. South Branch Lake is ideally suited for smallmouth bass. Three to five pound smallmouth bass are common.
