 | Frost Pond Camps Our area provides for the experience of "Big Woods" hunting, unique in this part of the country. The fall season is open for ruffed grouse, moose by permit, bear and deer, of which our hunters take their share. Deer season opens with archery in October and extends through
the regular rifle hunt to a final week of muzzle loader hunting. A maze of old and new logging roads can help
to put the hunter onto a bragging buck.
