	Renys Renys are a chain of small discount stores throughout Maine that have been a part of our state's culture since 1949. Renys started in 1949 when Robert H. Reny (better known to all as "R.H.") opened his first store in Damariscotta, Maine. The first winter was so slow that in order to keep the store open, Robert had to go door to door around the area selling merchandise out of his old Hudson.

	Robbins Toys Our 5th generation family owned company has been in business for over 127 years. This longevity is in large part due to our commitment to community and a healthy, sustainable planet. Wood used in the production of Robbins Toys came from trees that were harvested using sustainable forestry management practices. Our ultimate goal is to provide child and earth-friendly toys and game for children, classrooms, and families to learn with, share, and enjoy for many generations.

	The Maine Children's Home n its first year, The Maine Children's Home provided aid to 28 boys and girls, primarily in central Maine.The Maine Children's Home is a non-profit organization headquartered in Waterville, Maine that is dedicated to building and strengthening children and Maine families, instilling hope for the future and a better quality of life.
