	Seymour's Bird Refuge Seymour's Bird Refuge has been a state-licensed exotic bird shelter since 2000. As we all know, in the bird world they live considerably longer than most pets, and their needs are quite different. The expense and noise levels are high and donations are seldom. We do allow some adoptions with specific requirements.

	SOS-Lubec, Maine, Inc. One cat can have at least three litters each year with an average of five kittens per litter. Assuming all those kittens are female, with the possibility of those kittens having at least one litter per year, producing five kittens; that is 90 unwanted kittens per year from a single female cat.SOS is a not for profit feline (cat) shelter. Our mission is to provide care, food, shelter and medical attention to the stray/feral cats and kittens (The Forgotten Ones) of Lubec and the surrounding area.

	Tenth Life, Inc. Welcome and thank you for your interest in Tenth Life. We are a not for profit cat rescue organization operating in and around Waldo County, Maine. We officially organized in early 2008 and have helped hundreds of cats. We work with stray, surrendered and feral cats. When a tame cat enters Tenth Life care, they are tested for Feline Leukemia and FIV. They are then vaccinated against rabies and distemper and spayed or neutered.
