saveourstraysinmaine.jpgSave Our Strays
Save Our Strays was formed in 2002 to provide additional services to the community that local shelters may not be able to offer due to tight budgets and strained resources. We believe that the current immense pet overpopulation problem affects everyone. Communities must work together to meet the needs of the animals and the people living within the community.

seymourbirdrefuge.jpgSeymour's Bird Refuge
Seymour's Bird Refuge has been a state-licensed exotic bird shelter since 2000. As we all know, in the bird world they live considerably longer than most pets, and their needs are quite different. The expense and noise levels are high and donations are seldom. We do allow some adoptions with specific requirements.
