 | North Light Gallery WELCOME to NORTH LIGHT GALLERY in the Katahdin region of Maine. | | Northlight We offer a portrait session in our favorite location, the Riverwalk Park in Auburn, or choose any custom location within 5 miles of the studio. We offer a 100% guarantee for rainy weather. If it rains out we can reschedule at no charge. We just ask that wait until you are ready to leave for your appointment before deciding. | | Patrisha Mclean I started photographing 20 years ago, with the birth of my first child, Jackie Lee. At the Maine Photographic Workshops I studied with masters of black and white portrait and documentary photography, including Keith Carter, Mary Ellen Mark, Claudio Edinger and Eugene Richards. I photograph with a medium format camera and hand-craft each print in my darkroom, using the finest fiber-based paper for heirloom prints that will be enjoyed for generations. |
| | Paul Andrew Photography My formal training is actually in physics; I graduated with a B.S. in physics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1986, and then did my Doctoral work at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. While studying there and subsisting on a graduate student stipend, I managed to scrape together enough cash to buy my first 35 mm camera, a few lenses, and a good tripod. |
