	Maine State Police The Maine State Police is the state's largest police agency with an authorized complement of 341 sworn personnel, ranging from trooper to colonel. Troopers patrol Maine's Highways and provide full service law enforcement services to the citizens and visitors throughout the State. There are several specialty units within the State Police to include a tactical, underwater recovery, evidence response, crisis negotiations, and incident management.

	Maine State Police Computer Crimes Unit The Maine State Police Computer Crimes Unit is a multi-jurisdictional entity designed to primarily assist law enforcement officers and prosecutors in Maine with the investigation and prosecution of computer crimes. The focus of the task force is to provide quality training to serve as a forensic, technical, and legal resource for the law enforcement community in Maine.

	Millinocket Police Department The Town of Millinocket has a police force of nine full-time employees; eight Officers and the Chief of Police. Chief Don Bolduc became a reserve Officer and dispatcher in 1989. He became a full-time officer in 1991 and has been the Chief of Police since 2004. The Millinocket Police Department's part time secretary Sue Walsh is on duty from 9-am to noon, Monday through Friday to assist citizens and visitors to the region.
