	Northern Maine Development Commission (NMDC) The Northern Maine Development Commission (NMDC) is a membership organization comprised of participating communities and counties in the Northern Maine Economic Development District. NMDC provides federal and state services at the regional and local levels. NMDC also provides management and support for Aroostook County Tourism (ACT), Aroostook Municipal Association (AMA), Aroostook Partnership for Progress (APP) and more.

	Planning and Economic Development The Planning and Economic Development Office provides Orono with comprehensive land-use planning services and advises the Planning Board and Town Council on all development matters. 	Sanford Regional Economic Growth Council (SREGC) The Sanford Regional Economic Growth Council (SREGC) is a partnership of the Town of Sanford, the Chamber of Commerce and the Industrial Development Corporation. SREGC goal is to facilitate the economic growth in the region, with a particular focus on new job creation. SREGC business development mission aligns community interests with established business imperatives.
