MMA is a non-profit, non-partisan organization governed by an Executive Committee elected from its member municipalities. MMAâ€™s services include advocacy, education and information, professional legal and personnel advisory services, and group insurance self-funded programs.

	Maine State Bar Association Maine State Bar Association created the Lawyer Referral and Information Service in 1972, we became the 12th Bar Association sponsored referral service in the nation. Now there are almost 300 not-for-profit lawyer referral service programs associated with state and county bar associations across the country.

	Muskie Fund for Legal Services Money raised by the Muskie Fund supports six non-profit legal services providers which provide legal services to Maine's low-income and elderly residents.
