Waterford Library
In 1899, the Circle incorporated as the Ladies Library Association of Waterford, electing Sarah Knight as its first librarian. Three years later, Mrs. Florence Rounds was elected assistant librarian. Interest in the library grew and more room was needed for books.

The West Buxton Public Library traces its beginnings back to 1925 when it was organized in the West Buxton Baptist Church on the hill on River Road by the dam. Improvements are constantly being made to make the library a warm and inviting place to study, read, access the internet, borrow books and audio/video media. Coffee/tea are offered on Saturday mornings for free.

The William Fogg Library was established in 1907 for the residents of Eliot by a trust from Dr. John S. H. Fogg in memory of his father, William Fogg. This was located at his home on Old Road (now the Fogg Homestead near the William Fogg Library). To honor his father’s love of education, learning, and the people of Eliot, Dr. John Fogg left a trust including land, the family homestead, and funds to provide a library for the residents of Eliot.

The Wilton Free Public Library is located in the foothills of western Maine, alongside Wilson Stream in downtown Wilton. The Library, which serves the communities and citizens of the Wilton, Dryden, East Wilton, and East Dixfield was incorporated in 1901 as The Wilton Free Public Library Association.
