The Berwick Public Library has wonderful collections for children and adults, comfortable spaces for enjoying books and periodicals, public Inter access, and special activities covering a wide range of interests. Library cards are free to all Berwick residents, as is use of the Library. Non-Resident cards cost $15 per year.

The Blue Hill Library serves all the people of Blue Hill Peninsula children, adults, people of all backgrounds and circumstances who seek information and the pleasure that comes from the life of the mind. Newer multimedia technologies are integrated with the traditional collections of books, maps, periodicals, and newspapers.

The Bonney Memorial Library endeavors to provide quality collections, resources, and services to meet and support the educational, informational, and recreational interests of all members of the community. Books, magazines, videos and audiocassettes can be borrowed for a three-week period. Reference materials and pop-up books are available.

The Boothbay Harbor Memorial Library has been providing library service to the residents of Boothbay and Boothbay Harbor since 1924. The Library currently houses 22,000+ books, audiobooks and videos for adults and youth. The porch of the Hyde House features the ever-popular Porch Books for the princely donation of 10 cents per book. A slot in the door allows browsers to buy Porch Books at any time from Fisherman's Festival through Columbus Day.
