The Maine Music Society
The Maine Music Society was founded in 1991 to support the artistic and educational activities of two performing bodies: the Androscoggin Chorale and its professional orchestra, The Maine Chamber Ensemble. Based in Lewiston-Auburn, it is a nonprofit professional organization that produces an annual series of orchestral, chamber and choral music concerts.

zulu-lep.jpgThe Zulu Leprechauns
The Zulu Leprechauns are an eclectic folk-rock group that plays a mix of original and familiar music, incorporating styles from West African, rock & roll, bluegrass and folk. Their own songs are balanced by covers of such artists as Neil Young, Bob Dylan, Grateful Dead, Lou Reed and Cyndi Lauper, among others. The Zulu Leps have four releases including the eponymous "Zulu Leprechauns", "Mixed Messages", "L. A. To Zaire", and their latest, "In the Weeds".

The Unity Centre is a comfortable 200 seat theatre with a great sound system. The generosity of Unity philanthropists Bert and Coral Clifford made it happen. In January 2007, the Cliffords donated the theater to Unity College.

Luncheons are presented in partnership with the Cumberland Club in Portland, located at 116 High Street. All luncheons begin promptly at 12:00 noon and last approximately an hour and a half. Lunch is $25 for all attendees. Seating is limited and reservations are required in advanc

I,Dave Mello, born August 29, 1945 in Providence Rhode Island. At age 6, I knew I wanted to be a guitar player. I would hear notes and find them on a plastic guitar that I had and figure out songs that I liked. In the early 70’s I played in St. Elmos Fire which included some incredible players, which included BuddyMiller,(bass,guitar&vocals,) Christopher Hartshorne,(banjo& vocals)(M.G. Clemens,(drums & banjo),etc.
