	The "470" Railroad Club The "470" Railroad Club was established in 1954 to commemorate the last run of a steam locomotive, No. 470, in passenger service on the Maine Central Railroad. Based in the Portland Maine area, it is incorporated in the State of Maine as a not-for-profit historical and educational association, and is certified as such by the United States Internal Revenue Service.

	The Abbe Museum The Abbe Museum was founded in 1926 and first opened to the public in 1928. The museum is named for its founder, Dr. Robert Abbe (1851-1928), an eminent New York physician known for his pioneering use of radiation therapy. A beloved summer resident of Bar Harbor, during the 1920s Dr. Abbe assembled a collection of early Native American artifacts found in the Frenchman Bay area.

	The Boothbay Region Historical Society The Boothbay Region Historical Society is located at the 1874 Elizabeth F. Reed house and its grounds, Fullerton Park. Many of the furnishings in the museum in the building were Reed family heirlooms. The society has traditionally represented the three towns in the region: Boothbay, Boothbay Harbor, and Southport, though Southport is now ably represented by its own society. The museum displays local historical mementos and houses documentary collections.

	The Brick Store Museum William Lord was born at Kennebunk Landing in 1799, the third son of Tobias Lord and Hephzibah Conant Lord. As a merchant and ship owner, Lord became one of Kennebunkâ€™s most important patriarchs and citizens. In 1820 he married Sarah Cleaves of Biddeford, and they lived in what was then the Jonas Clark house at 20 Summer Street. It sits high on the hill and is now known as the William Lord Mansion, a private residence. It was here that Lord and his wife raised their large family of 10 children.
