	Acorn Productions Acorn Productionsâ€™ mission is to invigorate the community of performing artists in Southern Maine. Acorn seeks to nurture new performance pieces, develop artist collaboratives, train new talent, and make the arts accessible to a wide spectrum of the general public. Acorn accomplishes these goals by mounting annual festivals that are open to a variety of artists as well as professional performances by local actors in both traditional and non-traditional venues.

	brucekaminski What I seek in my work is spirit, essence, the very life of life. The human figure is a landscape, and one is humbled by the subtleties and grandeur of that landscape. A slight change in line or tone can alter completely the aspect of a face or figure. Approach from a new angle or alter the light source and a wholly new image arises. Color and light breathe life into it. In my painting, I now have an opportunity to explore the beauty of color and the power of light.

	Dennis Rafferty I moved to Maine in 1998 to open Crosstrees Bed and Breakfast. My partner and I sold it in 2002. I am now painting full time and have recently opened Cygnet Gallery-Portland with my good friends Kim Swan and Brian Lazarus. I did my undergraduate work with Richard Slimon at Emporia State University, my graduate work with Bob Brawley and Mike Ott at Kansas University. I have studied with Steve Quiller in Creede, Colorado and Maine.

	Donna Lacey Derstine Raised in rural bucks country, pennsylvania where traces of early americana and bucolic landscapes were intervowen into her life experiences. Donna majored in painting and illustration at philadelphia college of art. An eventual move to maine coupled with her love of the natural world inspired her soft new england pastal landscapes and folk images.
