When you take a workshop at Haystack Mountain School of Crafts, you will be able to work in the studios day and night, you will have time to experiment and discover, and be a part of an intensive and supportive community of learners.

	Heartwood College of Art American artists have always been drawn to Maine. Maine's light, the sea, and country living touch the aesthetic in all of us. Heartwood students can spend the morning painting at the school and visit the revitalized Kennebunk downtown during lunch...perhaps taking in the Brick Store Museum's latest exhibit or a tour of one of the historic homes on Summer Street.

	Maine College of Art Located in the heart of the Portland Arts District, Maine College of Art offers a Bachelor of Fine Arts, a Master of Fine Arts in Studio Arts, a Post-Baccalaureate in Art Education as well as Continuing Studies for adults and youths, including a Pre-College intensive for high school students. At MECA, undergraduate students spend the first year developing a foundation and the second year exploring a variety of media.

	Maine State Ballet Maine State Ballet, established in 1986, has fast become the leading professional dance company in the State of Maine. Under the direction of Artistic Director Linda MacArthur Miele, Maine State Ballet's School for the Performing Arts specializes in ballet, tap, jazz and theater performance. As a non-profit, the school strives to enrich the Maine community through education, outreach and expanded enjoyment of the performing arts.

	Ogunquit Playhouse The theatre experienced enormous success and soon sought larger quarters; Unlike other Summer Theatres of its day, which were renovated barns, garages or churches, the Ogunquit Playhouse was the first, and remains the only, summer theatre from the Summer Stock era built exclusively as a seasonal venue! For its time it was a state of the art building that rivaled many theatres in New York.
