	The Old York Historical Society The Old York Historical Society, doing business as the Museums of Old York, was founded more than one hundred years ago to preserve the history and artifacts of York, Maine. Originally referred to as Gorgeana, York is one of New England's earliest colonial settlements. It also has the distinction of being the nation's first chartered city (1641) and first incorporated city (1642).

	The Scarborough Historical Society and Museum The Scarborough Historical Society was established in 1961 to protect the rich history, heritage, and traditions of Scarborough. Pieces of that heritage were rapidly being taken out of state by those who were willing to pay the price. The mission of our society is to inform the community of this history by collecting, preserving, and displaying materials associated with our past. The Scarborough Historical Society and Museum provides a variety of services to the community.

	University of Maine Museum of Art The University of Maine Museum of Art enriches the cultural life of the citizens of Maine and University community through exhibitions, collections and innovative educational programming designed to promote an understanding of the visual arts with particular emphasis on the modern and contemporary. The Museum shares the mission of the University of Maine to advance research, teaching and educational outreach, and to serve as a center of aesthetic engagement for diverse audiences.

	W. W. & F. Railway Museum The Wiscasset, Waterville & Farmington Railway Museum, Inc., is a non-profit organization established in 1989 to acquire, preserve, and restore the operation of narrow gauge railroads and equipment which operated in the Sheepscot Valley and on other roads and to establish a Museum for the display of artifacts for enlightenment and education of the general public concerning the social and economic impact of railroads on the communities served.

	Wells Reserve & Laudholm Trust These two organizations are tightly linked, but each has its own role. In short, the Wells Reserve focuses on research, education, and stewardship, while Laudholm Trust focuses on fundraising and community building. Both organizations are committed to the evolution of the Wells Reserve at Laudholm as a center for the protection of coastal environments. The work of the Wells Reserve and the care of its precious site are made possible by Laudholm Trust.
