The Birches Family Campground is located on the southeastern shore of Lake Cobbosseecontee, in central Maine, just south of Augusta, Maine's Capital. We offer supervised Children's activities each weekend during the summer, and every day thru the week of July 4th. We offer holiday theme events; Halloween in June, Christmas in July and Easter in August! Our Independence Day events include a bike parade and hayrides, followed by spectacular fireworks over the lake at night. Enjoy the camaraderie around an open campfire and develop new friendships among your camping neighbors. Or kick up your heels and join us for a street dance...and bring your appetite to our pot-luck Pig Roast!
