We soon learned that nothing symbolizes the maritime history of our country more than the lighthouses and the keepers who served them. On our journeys we met hundreds of people who had the same interest, people who were planning their vacations around lighthouse exploring, or who simply had a favorite lighthouse they visited on a regular basis.
