The Tallwood Motel is a resort motel located on US Route 1 in Wells, Maine, USA. We are open to the public from the beginning of May until the end of October so that you may enjoy our long vacation season. Spending a summer vacation at Southern Maine's seacoast is a great vacation choice. If you have been here before you know what we mean; if you have not, then we hope that you may indulge yourself with a visit here. Although a summer vacation on the Southern Maine seacoast is a unique experience, our spring and fall vacation seasons have their own special offerings. The weeks from May until summer offer access to most of the same attractions but at lower rates. The Southern Maine seacoast opens its eyes in May to those vacationers who want more privacy and quiet time on their vacation. It's a nice time for a walk on the beach to rejuvenate the spirit after the winter months.
