The Temple Heights Spiritual Camp has been serving the Northport community since 1882 and have held services and classes through the years along the shores of the Penobscot Bay. The church was founded more recently to ensure that the spiritual welfare of the community was attended to outside of the camp season. Camps play a vital role for Spiritualism and Maine has an incredible history for Spiritualism since two other, of the first camps in the United States, were established here. They were Camp Etna and Madison Camp and although Camp Etna is no longer a member of NSAC it is an honor to recognize them as they still conduct camp seasons for Spiritualist gatherings. Our affiliation with NSAC embraces the goals of similar Spiritualist organizations around the world. That goal is the Spiritual and Secular Welfare of Mankind and we encourage you to explore our site and the sites of other Auxiliaries that are referenced in this site.
