My name is Margaret Gibson and I started quilting in England (where I was born) when I was 11 years old. Quilting was very different then and much slower. My husband, Derek, and I bought the Kedarburn Inn in 1988, and I began making quilts for the rooms. People liked the quilts so much that they asked if they could buy them. That is when I decided to start a quilt shop which over the years has grown to four rooms with over 3,500 bolts of fabric and many quilting accessories. I also have made quilts to order, which I enjoy as well. I decided to start the quilt weekends after many requests from guests of the inn.
